History, Vision & Mission
Our
Established on January 22, 2015, SMAMIO was inaugurated as an Islamic-based research school with the motto "Excellent with Character Education." The school is located at Jalan Raya Mutiara No. 95, Pondok Permata Suci (PPS), Gresik, and is under the auspices of the Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership of East Java.
Environmental Innovation (PLTS): In September 2020, this school partnered with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to launch a 25 KW Solar Power Plant (PLTS) in the school building area as a form of support for renewable energy.
Vision
"To become an excellent, creative, and globally competitive Islamic school."
The vision of SMA Muhammadiyah 10 GKB Gresik was formulated based on input from various members of the educational unit and stakeholders. The vision of SMA Muhammadiyah 10 GKB Gresik also aligns with the national education vision. The Vision was developed through a teacher council meeting led by the principal of SMA Muhammadiyah 10 GKB Gresik, taking into account suggestions from school stakeholders.
Once finalized, the Vision was disseminated to the educational unit and all stakeholders. The Vision was then periodically reviewed and reformulated in line with developments and challenges in the community/environment.

• Having competent human resources and a modern management system in the field of scientific development that produces students who are faithful, knowledgeable, critical thinkers, and have a global perspective.
